First off, I've done this before and it's VERY dependent on your luck. You need to carefully cut out your coupon (the coupon needs to be in color) so it looks like a real one. If you have extra white space around your coupon, most stores will refuse to take it. Maybe even print it out in photo-paper so people will think it's legit. Go to the store, get your stuff, and find a cashier who looks like they're mildly experienced (not too experienced). This is because new cashiers tend to ask the manager for help, and most managers will not accept a coupon that is a copy. Have the cashier scan everything and at the end just hand the coupon to them. Act confident, don't look like you're afraid they won't accept...they can read you sometimes. If all goes through, take your stuff and walk out quickly. If the cashier rejects or calls up the manager (and the manager rejects), refuse to pay for the stuff and leave. If the manager asks where you got the coupon, say you got it from an email from Circuit City.
If there are multiple Circuit Cities in your area, try another store. Or even try the same Circuit City at a different time...like I said it's some skill but also a lot of luck.
good luck...I've done this before but it was $20 off $100
and if you choose me for best answer....can you please put a link to where you got this coupon? I'll check this page again shortly :)
